The story How...

Melody was raised in a Christian home by parents who love the Lord. She accepted the Lord at age thirteen but drifted away thru her teenage years. In 2014 she repented of this and committed to walking with the Lord. While in high school, she went on a few short-term mission trips to Mexico where she met, unknown to her, her future husband. She also was a part of Calvary Chapel St George’s high school youth team that went to the Thai/Burma border to minister to the Karen people who had been displaced by a civil war. While there, ministering to the Karen, God confirmed to her that she was to be a missionary to the people living in Mexico.
Melody was accepted into the Intern program at the Calvary Training Center in La Gloria Mexico. She served there for nine months and then returned to St George to raise support to continue the passion she had to serve the Lord in Mexico.
She was sent out of CCSG as a missionary to the people of Mexico in February 2018 to serve at the Calvary training Center (Now Awaken Discipleship and training center).   While there, she married her husband, Cesar, who also served at the Training Center. Currently they are a vital part of the Training Center and the numerous outreach teams that use the Training center as their base while in Mexico.
